Bio

I don't want to lie to you. I'm not very good at this part. I am a singer/songwriter, composer, educator, performer, conversationalist, aspiring author, mom, and wife. I love having a part in a story that is much larger than myself, and for me, making music is how I do that. I've put in my time at school, and for the most part, loved every minute of it. My time at my grad program at Vermont College of Fine Arts, however, was the best time yet. I met some amazing colleagues, who are now my most precious friends, and co-creators in music. I try to admonish my students to do amazing things that only they can do, and I try to be the audience and advocate for them that I needed when I was a student. But mostly, I like writing songs. I like the process that is somewhat magical, and mysterious, and I get to just be a part of. I try to speak from my unique viewpoint as a woman, mother, lover of nature, and believer in the good that this world has for each of us.
